Isn't it amazing how much faster lace knitting becomes when the end is in sight. I've finished round 134 of the thistle with only another 3 - 10 rounds to go. I'll decide on how much further to go as I knit. I have several edgings in mind but along the lines of something simple and pointy. I'm very excited about how she is looking.
I realised after I'd wound the wool I'd hand dyed and hand spun for my SP11 that I hadn't taken a picture of the hank. Oh well ... I'm halfway through knitting a hat but may have to spin up some more fleece as it looks like I'm running out of yarn. The remit was something soft in ocean colours. I'm really happy with the colours but a little worried about the softness (pictures to follow later).

Handspun 300g 2ply (50% hand dyed Scotch mule/ 50% Shetland)Bravely knitted without swatching as Aran on 4.5mm needles to make a hat and on 3.75mm needles as dk to make fingerless gloves. Both fit perfectly and are reasonably soft and definately unique!

I had plans to pose with my winter coat on but only finished seaming in the car this morning so my office had to pose instead!

I have another 150g left to knit a matching (?) scarf.

Otherwise I've very nearly finished the hundertwasser socks (just about 2cm of cuff left to knit) and am still undecided about thistle. I've looked at literally hundreds of edgings and still can't make up my mind!
