Time for tea swap

Quick update and time for tea swap ...

Life has been manic recently both at work and home. I have a few emails etc to send to my vitual friends for a while and haven't done so ... please be patient with me.

Work has been a series of deadlines ... but its done and I filed my first patent (woohoo). I have one more deadline in 3 weeks time and then hopefully things will calm down.

Home has been busy too. We ARE (hopefully ... fingers crossed) moving on the 9th April. We haven't managed to sell our flat (but have someone coming round for a second viewing tomorrow) but we are going to rent the house in the countryside that we were hoping to buy last year ... and then buy it once our flat is sold. We visited my sister and family and DH's family last weekend which was great. I'm heading back to my sisters next weekend to celebrate my nephew's 2nd birthday.

I took part in Vonnies time for tea swap. My swap partner was Kerry who throughly spoiled me.

Look at the goodies she made for me.

Purple sparkly knitting needles ...

A beautiful resin pendant with tea leaves imbedded in it. This matches my new green suit perfectly.

I had a long browse of Kerry's website, she is totally gifted! I hope she likes the things I've made for her (I'm feeling quite inadequate just now...)
Finally I finished a few things in a hurry before last weekend (and in my rush forgot to photograph most of them!)
Here is the Alphabuddies quilt for my new nephew ...

I also finished the fishermans jumper and a long coat for my tall sister and a wee (but still too big) baby tee shirt. I'll try and get my sister to take some action shots ...

Lovely! I saw your items for Kerry on her blog, they were really thoughtful too.

I'm so glad you're not losing your house in the country, what fantastic news. We must catch up soon x
