So I think I've set a new record ... finished the daisy shawl for my mum in one week. Still need to block it but will have pictures soon. I love the seasilk but am a little worried that it is a little to heavy to hold its shape well after blocking. ... fingers crossed eh!

My next lace project is this http://www.heirloom-knitting.co.uk/simply_stunning6.html
I have just three weeks to complete it so that I can wear it for a special occassion (although I also have a wedding to attend in June so that might be more realistic).

Finally another fabulous link to an ebook "Exercises in knitting" by Cornelia Mee 1845.

I have read about this book in Victorian Lace today and was planning a trip to the Bristish Library during my next visit to London to have a look but thanks to project Gutenberg this won't be necessary!
